At Sacred Heart, boys and girls are prepared for the
Indian Certificate of Secondary Examinations, NEW DELHI (ICSE).
Students can offer a combination of English,
Environmental Education,
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Hindi, Bengali,
Nepali, Computers and Commercial Studies for the Board Examination.
Value education and ethical instructions form a
compulsory part of the curriculum.
As we mature there are all possibilities of
upgrading to classes eleven and twelve.
The
school year is divided into two terms ending on June 30th and November 30th
respectively. Written Examinations are held at the end of each term and a report
on each child's performance is sent to parents. Apart from the end of term tests
and report, special graded cards are forwarded to parents occasionally during
the academic year indicating the progress made in regular class tests.
Special arrangements cannot be made for pupils who
are absent from the main examinations or any part of them. Answer scripts
submitted by the pupils will not be made available to parents or others.
The ICSE, Class 10, Board Examination is held in
March. |
