 Sacred Heart School, established in
the year 1997,
is a residential cum day school, affiliated to It is managed by ' The Kurseong Sacred Heart Educational Society '. Members committed to the
social, cultural and educational development of children from all
walks of society without discrimination of caste or creed.
Sacred Heart School is
ideally situated at an altitude of 4850 feet, in the foothills of the
Himalayas in the state of West Bengal, (INDIA) in the small and
peaceful town of Kurseong (Darjeeling Dictrict), 37 Kms from Siliguri
and 45 Kms from the airport of Bagdogra.
The mild mountain climate from March to
November, the clean fresh air with the lush evergreen flora, favour
the mental and physical growth of young children.
At Sacred Heart School,
boys and girls are prepared for. the Indian Certificate of Secondary
Examination, New Delhi (I.C.S.E). Students can offer a combination of
English , Mathematics Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography,
Hindi, Nepali, Bengali, Computers and Commercial Studies, for the
board exams.
English is the medium of instruction. Hindi, Nepali or Bengali are
taught as second language.

FACILITIES FOR GIRLS
The girls are housed exclusively in a
separately building. They have their own classrooms with a set of
experienced and dedicated lady teachers.
 They can enjoy the comforts
of a spacious dormitory with attached toilets, refractory, infirmary,
computer lab and a big hall for their indoor activities.
The girls are in charge of
a senior matron, who looks after them and their various needs 24x7.
There is a trained nurse on the campus to attend to their health
problems. The school doctor visits once a week and is on call for any
emergency.
FACILITIES FOR BOYS
The boys are accommodated in the huge new building a cross the road.
They enjoy the benefits of the adjoining play ground and basket ball
court, whenever they are
free from studies. The building has all the
comforts of an ideal and modern residential school, with spacious
class rooms, newly furnished dormitories and refractory. The boys are
in charge of a warden and a set of male teachers.
With our latest
infrastructure, we hope to further develop the school by leaps and
